Education Outreach
MIF believes that education is fundamental in helping to eliminate
the poverty cycle.
In the El Nino and Vista de Valle areas of Tijuana Mexico, local officials
estimate that 25% to 30% of the elementary aged children do not attend
school. In most instances, the families lack money for tuition, supplies, and
in some cases a school uniform.
$90 will educate an elementary student for entire year. It takes
$260 to provide the same for a high school student where the
percentage of non-attenders and drop-outs is much higher than that
of elementary school.
MIF has sponsored hundreds of children and is looking for your help.
1) Sponsor an elementary student for $90.
2) Sponsor a junior high school student for $120.
3) Sponsor a high school student for $260.
4) College students are approximately $2500.
Above amounts sponsor a student for one year.
